Phi Mu is the second oldest Greek letter organization for young women. We
were founded January 4, 1852 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Our
Founder's Day is celebrated on the date our public introduction, March 4.
Considering the time in history when we were founded, Mary Dupont Lines,
Mary Myrick Daniel, and Martha Hardaway Redding were women of foresight and
courage.
