Since 1998, God's Little Acres has been hosting children with serious illnesses, physical or developmental disabilities. The kids and their families enjoy a day with horses, pigs and emu in residence at the retreat, along with hayrides, face painting and a picnic lunch. God's Little Acre brightens a day in the lives of children who have conquered more in their young lives than many adults will ever encounter. God's Little Acres is a retreat for sick children and
their families. Bob and Joan Nast have created an opportunity for sick children
and their families to take a day away from hospital rooms, doctor's
appointments, and the other routines of being ill.
